Android One smartphones in India to be updated to Lollipop in the next few weeks

After waiting for more than three months, Google India has officially announced that the wait for Lollipop update on Android One smartphones is about to end. Google India has announced via a tweet on Twitter that the Lollipop update for Android One smartphones which include Micromax Canvas A1, Spice Dream UNO and Karbonn Sparkle V will be rolled out in the next few weeks.

Android 5.0 Lollipop update soak test invites for Moto E rolls out in India

Motorola has already updated the first and second generation Moto G smartphones along with second generation Moto X to the latest Android Lollipop update in the country. Now, Motorola has started testing the Lollipop update for Moto E in the country. Motorola has started sending out invitations for a Lollipop soak test updates to the users in India.

XOLO One and XOLO Q610s gets Android 5.0 Lollipop update

Indian smartphone manufacturer XOLO has started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the XOLO One and XOLO Q610s smartphones. The update for XOLO One was released couple of weeks back with the same for Q610s was released last week. XOLO becomes the first Indian vendor to roll out Lollipop update for its devices.

Android 5.0 Lollipop update now rolling out for Samsung Galaxy S5 Exynos variant

Samsung started rolling out the Lollipop update for the Galaxy S5 back in December to the international variant, the SM-G900F powered by Snapdragon 801 SoC. Now, Samsung has finally started rolling out the same update for the Exynos-variant (SM-G900H) of the smartphone. The Lollipop update to the Galaxy S5 is rolling out in Kazakhstan.

Samsung in a surprising move has started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its 2013- flagship devices in Russia. The Android 5.0 update is now rolling out for the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3 devices in the country. It is quite disappointing to see that the newly launched Galaxy Note 4 is yet to receive the Lollipop update.

Android 5.0 Lollipop update now rolling out for HTC One (M8) in India, Malaysia, Europe & U.S.

HTC has finally started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its flagship Android smartphone, the HTC One (M8) in several countries starting few weeks back. The Lollipop update for the One (M8) is already rolling out for the unlocked variants available in India, Malaysia, Europe and the United States. The update is also available for One (M8) Developer edition in the States.

Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update now rolling out for Moto G & Moto G (2nd Gen) in India

After few soak tests, Motorola Mobility has finally started rolling out the much-awaited Android 5.0 Lollipop update for both the first and second generation Moto G smartphones in the country. The update is not only rolling out in India, but also in Brazil and in the U.S., but only for Moto G (2nd Gen). 

Motorola smartphones launched in 2013 and 2014 to receive Lollipop update really soon

Motorola is one of the manufacturers that announced that it will be rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update to its smartphones soon after the commercial availability of the same. Sadly, it took Motorola users around couple of months to receive the update and still there is no specific date for the roll-out of the update.
