Samsung officially announces Galaxy Camera 2 with 16.3MP camera sensor, 21x optical zoom lens and NFC support

Samsung has officially took the wraps off the next generation Galaxy Camera today. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Camera 2, the device comes with upgraded processor, new design, double RAM and more. The Galaxy Camera 2 comes in two colours, Black and White. Samsung will showcase the Galaxy Camera 2 at CES, which is starting from January 7th, 2014 in Las Vegas. No word on pricing and availability details yet.

Samsung has officially announced the world's first mirror-less interchangeable lens Android powered camera with 4G LTE today at Samsung Premiere 2013. The camera is dubbed as Samsung Galaxy NX and will join rest of the NX-series camera. Samsung Galaxy NX is compatible with all the 13 lenses available for NX family, including the newly announced 10mm F3.5 Fisheye lens. Samsung Galaxy NX looks like a professional DLSR camera. With Galaxy NX you get both professional camera and Android experience.

Samsung Galaxy Camera NX Press Render Images Leaked

Yesterday night TechTastic leaked one live image of upcoming Galaxy Camera NX and now we have some Official Press Images of the camera. The Galaxy Camera NX is confirmed for 20th June launch and will be first mirror-less camera from Samsung. If the images below are believed to be true, which actually is, then Samsung is taking a big leap from the original Galaxy Camera to its successor, dubbed as Samsung Galaxy NX.

Samsung CEO Jk Shin has confirmed that the company will be announcing the Next Generation Galaxy Camera later this month at Samsung Premier 2013 on 20th June in London, reported Korea Times. After reading this, it looks like the rumours of Samsung Mirror-less Galaxy Camera is true after all.

This is the first Smartphone to feature 16MP camera sensor with 10x Optical Zoom. The pricing and availability details are not yet known, but is expected to revealed on 20th June in London at Samsung Premier 2013.
