BlackBerry Messenger for Android to come first in Africa through Samsung Apps Store

Samsung has just released a press note which states that they will be featuring BlackBerry Messenger for Android on its self branded app store (Samsung Apps) which comes pre-installed on its smartphones. BBM for Android will first get released in Africa due to heavy users of BBM services in the country. The application is currently in its Beta testing mode and some screenshots of the application was leaked recently on the web.

Samsung didn't reveal any date for the release, but have confirmed that BBM for Android is coming soon and they will be the first to offer it in Africa. BBM for Android will bring the following features in it – BBM social network, BBM chats, multi-person chats and BBM groups, which is similar to WhatsApp group. The application will be globally available towards the end of summer.
