Android 4.4 KitKat is yet to get released, and Samsung has built up the plans for this update. Samsung has already made a list of which smartphones will be getting the Android 4.4 KitKat update in the near future. The list was revealed via an internal Samsung KNOX security service document. The document reveals, which Samsung smartphone will get the KNOX security app pre-installed on it and in which update.
As per the image, the Samsung Galaxy Mega and the Galaxy S4 Mini will be getting the KNOX security app in Android 4.4 KitKat update. The document doesn't specify which Galaxy Mega (the Galaxy Mega 5.8 or the Mega 6.3) will get the update, so we assume both will do so.
Currently KNOX app is only available on Galaxy Note 3, and according to the leaked document, the Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note II, and the Galaxy SIII will also be getting the service through Android 4.3 update.
The document doesn't list the flagship smartphones, like Galaxy S4 and Note 3 with Android 4.4, but both these smartphone will undoubtedly getting the Android 4.4 KitKat update in the future. There is no word on whether the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 will be getting the Android 4.4 update or not.
