Motorola Droid Ultra, Maxx, Mini and Moto X confirmed to get Android 4.4 KitKat update, Sony to reveal this week

Motorola has officially revealed the list of devices which will getting the newly launched Android 4.4 KitKat update. Google announced Android 4.4 last week along with Nexus 5, and the next day HTC announced that the HTC One will get this update within 90 days. After HTC, it is Motorola who has come up with it's plan for Android 4.4 update for their devices.

Motorola has officially revealed the list of devices which will getting the newly launched Android 4.4 KitKat update. Google announced Android 4.4 last week along with Nexus 5, and the next day HTC announced that the HTC One will get this update within 90 days. After HTC, it is Motorola who has come up with it's plan for Android 4.4 update for their devices.

Punit Soni, VP, Product Management at Motorola Mobility has officially confirmed the list of devices which will be getting the Android 4.4 update shortly. These devices include, Moto X, Droid Ultra, Droid Mini and Droid Maxx.

Motorola seems to be skipping Android 4.3 and jumping directly to Android 4.4. The company has not yet revealed the exact dates regarding when the update will actually be made available. But, we are expecting the update to go live before year end.

In related to the news, Sony has announced on twitter that, they will be revealing the details of Android 4.3 & 4.4 update for their products this week. No more information is available now.
