Update: Great news, according to Zauba records, more than 11,000 units of Nexus 5 smartphone are already shipped in India. Total of 11,050 units of Nexus 5 are already in India up to 13th November. In which, 6150 units are of Black 16GB version, 1500 of White 16GB, 1700 of Black 32GB and 1650 of White 32GB.

 While the shipments are already done, we are yet to hear any official news from Google regarding the India launch.

This record confirms that the launch of Nexus 5 and the new Nexus 7 tablet is not too far. Google has already revealed the price of Nexus 5, which is Rs. 28,999 for 16GB and Rs. 32,999 for 32GB. While the price of Nexus 7 (2013) is yet unknown.

Google Nexus 5 has been listed as coming soon on all the major online retailer in India, however Snapdeal has already started taking the pre-orders of Nexus 5, and even the pre-orders are SOLD OUT.

Snapdeal is taking the pre-orders of Nexus 5 (16GB) White and Black for Rs. 29,999, which is 1K more than the official price. The smartphone recently went again on pre-order on Snapdeal and within few hours it was sold out, third time in a row.

If iGyaan report is believed to be true, then Google will launch the Nexus 5 in India officially on 20th November. According to them, Snapdeal has sent an email to all the customers who pre-ordered the Nexus 5 stating that, the Nexus 5 will be available in India starting November 20th. This leads us to believe that the official launch might be on the same day as well or even before.

There is no way to confirm this date, but we hope it to be true. In addition to that, AndroidOS is reporting that, more than 5000 units of Nexus 5 have already reached India and Google will start taking orders for the Nexus 5 in the next few days, aka the device will be available on Play Store by the end of this week.

To remind you all, Nexus 5 comes with a 4.95-inch Full HD IPS display, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 450MHz Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat, 8MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), 1.3MP front facing camera, 16GB/32GB fixed internal storage and 2,300 mAh battery.

Additional features include, microUSB, SlimPort enabled, 3.5mm stereo audio jack, dual microphones, ceramic power and volume buttons, wireless charging support, penta-band 3G, 4G LTE, Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5GHz) 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC (Android Beam) and Bluetooth 4.0.
