Update: A new image of Xperia Z1s has popped up on the web. The image (below) shows the international Xperia Z1 Mini beside flagship Xperia Z1, giving a clear look at the size of the smartphone. According to the annotation on the image, it appears to suggest that Xperia Z1s will come with IPS display.

Later on, bunch of Xperia Z1s cases were up for pre-order on Amazon. The seller listed all the Z1s cases with an November 26 shipping date, which means the launch is not too far away.
Lastly, dozens of alleged images of Xperia Z1s have been leaked on the web. The photos below show a device similar to Z1, but in compact size, with a Sony logo on the front rather than NTT DoCoMo confirming this is the international version of Xperia Z1 f aka Z1 mini.
The Xperia Z1s was photographed next to a ruler, to give some sense of dimension. The device in the image holds D5503 as its model number, running firmware version 14.2.A.0.205, which is the Android 4.3 firmware.
To remind you, the Xperia Z1s is reported to come with a 4.3-inch HD display, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, 16GB/32GB internal storage, 20.7MP rear camera and 2,300 mAh battery.
The official announcement date is not clear, but considering the flow of leaks, Sony might soon announce the Xperia Z1s officially. So, stay tuned.
