As reported, LG has officially showcased the LG G Flex in India today at an press event in New Delhi. LG G Flex is the company's first smartphone with curved OLED display and is also the first curved-screen smartphone to be introduced in India. According to LG, the smartphone will go on sale in India sometime in February 2014, pricing is not yet disclosed, but we are assuming it to be around Rs. 60,000.
The G Flex is also the first smartphone to come with self-healing back cover, which helps in getting rid of scratches on the phone within minutes.
LG has packed G Flex with many software features, which include dual window, Swing Lock-screen (which tilts the wallpaper in response to the tilting motion), QTheater, Answer Me, KnockOn, Guest Mode, Slide Aside, Face Detection Indicator and more.
Specifications-wise, LG G Flex comes with a 6-inch HD Curved Plastic OLED (Real RGB) display, 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 graphics, 2GB RAM, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with LG's customized UI on top and rear buttons, similar to LG G2.
Other specifications include, 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 2.1MP front facing camera, 32GB internal storage with microSD card support, and 3,500 mAh battery. Connectivity series include, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and NFC support.
