Motorola has officially launched the much awaited Moto G in India today. Motorola has collaborated with India's largest e-commerce website Flipkart for selling the smartphone. Moto G will be exclusively available from Flipkart starting tomorrow, February 6. The company has priced the 8GB version of Moto G in India at Rs. 12,499, whereas the 16GB version costs only Rs. 13,999.
Motorola has only released the dual-SIM version of Moto G in India. This is the best price Motorola could offer to the Indian customers. The Moto G comes in black colour only with Grip shells in five colours, and flip covers and coloured protective cases.
The Moto G back cover is priced at Rs. 899, whereas the grip cover costs Rs. 1,099 and the flip cover can be grabbed for Rs. 1,599. Flipkart will begin the sales of Moto G at 12:01 AM, February 6.

According to Motorola, Moto G is faster than Galaxy S4 in making and answering calls, booting up and in some more basic tasks. The front of Moto G has Gorilla Glass 3 for extra protection against scratches and drops, while the insides are wrapped with water-resistant nano-coating.
On the specifications front, the Moto G comes with a 4.5-inch HD edge-to-edge display with 329 ppi pixel density, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Android 4.4 KitKat update on its way.
The smartphone also comes with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front facing camera, 8GB/16GB internal storage and 2,070 mAh battery. Connectivity series include, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS.
