Sony recently updated its software support pages with update roll out schedule. It has now started rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V which now join the Xperia SP in the list of Android 4.3 updates. Sony had given the Xperia SP Android 4.3 Jelly Bean treatment last week and the update for the same had started rolling out since then.
As per Sony, the Android 4.3 upgrade for Xperia T, TX and V carries most recent forms of local applications, Sony media applications, Xperia Themes help, and upgraded variant of Battery Stamina mode. The overhaul additionally packs Android security upgrades and Xperia in Business and Jelly Bean-particular characteristics like Project Butter enhancements and UI reaction optimisation.
The smartphones were initially launched with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and were later on updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. They skipped the 4.2 update and a 4.4 update seems a bit of an overstretch and they might not get updated to the same in near future. But Sony is investigating the viability of the same as well.
