Last week, reports started circulating online that Google is prepping a major update for its Android platform that will allow users to experience advanced multi-tasking across different services. Now, a leaked screenshot from a random Reddit user has confirmed the Project Hera, the codename of the alleged Android update.

From the screenshot, it appears that the search engine giant is planning to give a face-lift to Gmail. The screenshot of Gmail shows that Google is planning to redesign the mail client along with a little outdated design. The other details regarding the same remains unknown and we need to wait to know more.

It is also speculated that Google is also planning to update its Calendar app with a major overhaul including social integration and UI modifications.

The Google I/O annual developer conference is around the corner and there are increased chances for the company to announce something regarding the Project Hera at the conference.
