LG G3 is the only flagship smartphone due for the launch. Samsung, Sony and HTC have already released their flagship smartphones in the market. The LG G3 has been leaked quite a dozen of times. LG has already revealed that the smartphone will debut on May 27th and recently the vendor released the first official video teaser of the smartphone.

Along with the video teaser, some more press renders of the LG G3 have been surfaced online, but this time in high-resolution.

Talking about the video teaser first, embedded at the bottom, the video highlights some of the LG G3 features such as redesigned rear buttons, camera with OIS+ support, speakers, ultra-slim bezels and the brushed metal body. It is quite unconfirmed that whether the G3 will have a metal build or will feature some sort of material on the back giving a metallic look to the smartphone.

Coming to the leaked press renders, some high-quality press renders of the upcoming G3 have been leaked by Phone Arena. As per the press images, the G3 is likely to be made of polycarbonate body with special finish that looks like brushed metal. The images shows the gorgeous smartphone in three colours White, Gold and Gray / Titanium.

The renders also reveal that the top of the G3 will have an IR blaster and secondary microphone for noise cancellation, leaving us think of what the mystery sensor on the left of the camera is for. According to recent @evleaks tweet, the mystery G3 sensor is actually a laser auto focus, possibly for better night shots as rumoured earlier.

Prolific leaker @evleaks has also leaked some press images of the G3, which are identical to the one leaked by Phone Arena. The press images leaked by evleaks shows the lock screen of the phone, giving quite a small glimpse at the flat new Optimus UI.

Lastly, someone with the golden LG G3 wrapped in a new Quick Cover was spotted in a metro car in Korea. The new cover comes with a large circular cut out, which matches the new Optimus UI lock screen seen in the above G3 press image. The cut out will show useful information like date, time, weather, music, call and more without opening the cover. (via)

The LG G3 is said to come with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 32GB of internal storage with microSD card support, 3GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera with OIS+, 3,200 mAh battery and Android 4.4.2 KitKat topped with a redesigned Optimus UI that provides a cleaner look with flatter elements.

Anyways, we know that LG will be holding a press event on May 27th in six places simultaneously to unleash the G3 and we will come to know more about the handset then.

Update: @evleaks has leaked another press image of LG G3 in Titanium showing the sides, front and back of the phone.
