Samsung Galaxy TabQ aka Galaxy W with 7-inch display, quad-core processor, LTE-A support officially announced in China

After getting spotted on TENAA couple of months back, Samsung earlier this week made the Samsung SM-T2558 official in China with the moniker Samsung Galaxy TabQ. The Galaxy TabQ is the Galaxy W which was officially announced in South Korea last month. The smartphone is also listed on Samsung's official China website which confirms the specifications.

The Galaxy TabQ comes with similar Galaxy Note 3 like faux leather back. There is no word on pricing or availability details yet.

On the specifications front, Samsung Galaxy TabQ comes with a 7.0-inch HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The TabQ is just 8.9mm thick and weights 250 grams.

Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with expandable up to 64GB using microSD card and 3,200 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
