With Motorola having released its second generation Moto G and Moto X smartphones, it is pretty clear that the vendor will definitely come up with the successor of the budget handset Moto E as well. Now, the details regarding the Moto E (2nd Gen) have hit the webosphere and it is suggested that the handset will come with moderate enhancements in terms of specifications.
According to a report by Techmaniacs, the next generation Moto E will be going official soon and it will arrive with a 4.5-inch qHD display with screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. Also, the handset is likely to feature similar innards as the original Moto G that came with a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 1.2GHz, but we can expect a Snapdragon 410 SoC in the upcoming model.
The Moto E (2nd Gen) is said to feature 1GB of RAM for moderate multi-tasking, a 5MP primary snapper, again without LED flash and LTE connectivity. The report also adds that the device will be fueled by Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
The report also reveals that the new Moto E looks similar to its predecessor and will carry an affordable price tag as the original Moto E.
