LG to launch G3 in India on July 21st, now available online for pre-order starting at Rs. 46,990

LG G3, the much-awaited smartphone is all set to enter the Indian shores soon. LG has started teasing the launch of G3 in the country via its Facebook page. LG will be launching the G3 in India on July 21st, 2014. Also, the smartphone is available for pre-order in the country via online retailer Infibeam. The 16GB variant of G3 is available for pre-order for Rs. 46,990, whereas the 32GB variant costs Rs. 49,990. 

Samsung Galaxy S5 price dropped in India by Rs. 5,050, now retailing for Rs. 46,450

Samsung announced the Galaxy S5 in India last month and starting from April 11, the smartphone was available across the country. Samsung Galaxy S5 was priced at Rs. 51,500 at the time of launch, and weeks after the launch the smartphone is now available from India's leading e-commerce site Flipkart for Rs. 46,450 (updated), which is Rs. 5,050 less than the launch price.

It looks like Samsung lowered the price of Galaxy S5 because of the launch of HTC One (M8) in the country. HTC has launched the One (M8) in India earlier today for Rs. 49,900. One more price-cut and Galaxy S5 will become the best phone available in the market for around Rs. 42,000.

Talking about the specifications, Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with a 5.1-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, Exynos 5 Octa-Core processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Samsung's TouchWiz UI on top, 16MP rear camera with LED flash, 2.1MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with up to 64GB supported microSD card slot and 2,800 mAh battery.

Connectivity series include fifth generation Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with 2X2 MIMO, Bluetooth 4.0 BLE / ANT+, USB 3.0 (covered), NFC and IR Remote. In addition to all those specs, the Galaxy S5 is IP67 dust and water resistant. The smartphone also comes with Fingerprint scanner, Heart rate sensor, Ultra Power Saving Mode, Quick Connect, Download Booster, Private mode and Kids mode features.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to launch in India for Rs. 47,990, Galaxy Gear for around Rs. 20,000 and Galaxy Ace 3 for Rs. 16,000

Two more days, and Samsung will officially launch the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in India along with Samsung Galaxy Gear. Samsung is going to launch both, the phablet and the smartwatch in India on September 17th in New Delhi, with pre-orders are already live.

HTC officially launches HTC One Dual SIM+ in India for Rs. 53,590, available on Flipkart for Rs. 46,257

After getting spotted online twice, HTC has officially launched the dual SIM version of original HTC One in India for Rs. 53,590. Dubbed as HTC One Dual SIM+, the smartphone is already available on various online retailers and brick and motar stores for as low as Rs. 46,257.

Dual-SIM HTC One now available in India for Rs. 46,495

Last week spotted Dual-SIM HTC One is now available in India for Rs. 46,495. The smartphone is currently available on Flipkart. One of the seller named NXTEL, is offering the smartphone for Rs. 46,495 and is promising to ship the smartphone in 9-10 business days. The dual-SIM HTC One comes with an microSD card slot, removable back cover (non-removable battery) along with 3G+GSM dual-SIM connectivity.
