Sony Sirius with 5.2-inch display, Snapdragon 800 processor tipped for MWC announcement

Sony recently announced the miniature version of Xperia Z1 at CES in Las Vegas. The company was reported to announce its this year flagship smartphone, the successor of Xperia Z1 at CES, but the event came and went. Now, according to prolific leaker @evleaks, Sony will be launching a new smartphone codenamed Sony Sirius at Mobile World Congress in February in Barcelona.

Sony recently announced the miniature version of Xperia Z1 at CES in Las Vegas. The company was reported to announce its this year flagship smartphone, the successor of Xperia Z1 at CES, but the event came and went. Now, according to prolific leaker @evleaks, Sony will be launching a new smartphone codenamed Sony Sirius at Mobile World Congress in February in Barcelona.

Evleaks says that the Sirius will come with a 5.2-inch display and Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974AB processor. He also says that the handset will launch with Verizon in the United States. 

Previous reports revealed that, Sony Sirius will come with a 5.2-inch Quad-HD display, 3GB RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat, 20.7MP camera and 3,500 mAh battery

Also, evleaks is reporting that Sony will be launching a new tablet soon, codenamed Castor. According to him, Sony Castor will be powered by Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AB processor and will be launched in both Wi-Fi and 4G LTE variants. 

As usual, take the story with a pinch of salt, as nothing is confirmed yet.
