Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo with quad-core processor launching in India soon for Rs. 19,010, black Galaxy Grand 2 now available in India
Samsung is all set to launch a new mid-range Android smartphone in India. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo, the smartphone went on sale in Netherlands last month. The Galaxy Grand Neo has started reaching brick and mortar retailers. Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom has already got the stocks of the phone and has priced the phone at Rs. 18,190, which according to him is the best buy price.
The Galaxy Grand Neo sits in between the Galaxy Grand 2 and the Galaxy Grand, and features decent specifications. The same comes in four colours: white, black, orange and lime green and is priced at Rs. 19,010 (MRP).
Specifications-wise, the Galaxy Grand Neo comes with a 5.01-inch WVGA TFT display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz user-interface on top. The smartphone measure 143.7x77.1x9.6mm and weighs 163 grams.
Other specifications include 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 8GB/16GB internal storage with expandable up to 64GB using microSD card and 2,100 mAh battery. Connectivity series include Bluetooth 4.0 LE with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, microUSB, DLNA, GPS and GLONASS support.
In related to the news, Samsung has started selling the Black colour Galaxy Grand 2 in India from the official Samsung India eStore. The Galaxy Grand 2 was launched in India last month in only white colour. Samsung has also listed the pink colour Grand 2 on the website, but unfortunately it is currently out of stock.
If you are unaware, the Galaxy Grand 2 comes with a 5.25-inch HD TFT display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, 1.5GB RAM, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with 64GB microSD card expansion and 2,600 mAh battery.
