LG L90 with 4.7-inch qHD display, Android 4.4 KitKat priced at Rs. 18,990, launching in India on March 25th (now available)

Update: LG L90 is now available for purchase from online retailer Snapdeal. Snapdeal is selling the smartphone for Rs. 17,499, which is almost Rs. 1,500 less than the Infibeam pre-order pricing. Snapdeal notes that the orders will be dispatched in 12 business days, which means actual availability of L90 will start from first week of April.

LG is expected to announce the L Series III smartphones in India tomorrow, which include LG L90, LG L70 and LG L40.


LG unveiled the L Series III smartphones last month, and the biggest member of the family LG L90 is all set to launch in India. Online retailer Infibeam has listed the smartphone on its website and has also started taking pre-orders of the same. Infibeam listing reveals that the smartphone will retail for Rs. 18,990 and will be available from 25th March, 2014.

LG L90 feature a "non-slippery mesh pattern" on the back, and comes with an optional Quick Window cover, which comes in three vibrant colors. The window in the cover allows the user to view clock, weather report, alarm, music player, incoming calls and text messages and more without opening the cover.

On the specifications front, LG L90 comes with a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat with LG's customized Optimus 3.0 UI on top. 

The smartphone also comes with a 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, 8GB of built-in memory with expandable upto 32GB using microSD card and 2,540 mAh battery. The smartphone is 9.7mm thick and has dual-SIM support, no word on the release of single-SIM variant yet. Software features include QRemote, QSlide, Quick Memo, Knock Code, Knock On, Capture All, Guest Mode, Plug & Pop, Clip Tray, Smart Forward and more.
