LG is planning on going on the offensive in future in the flagship smartphone arena. It will be among the first companies to become a part of the rumoured Android Silver program. If the latest reports are to be believed, LG has already started testing the first smartphone that will be launched from its stable and the specifications are something that have been unheard off till now (Yes, they are that good).

Android Silver

The first smartphone that will be launched from LG under the Android Silver program will feature a Qualcomm MSM8994 processor under hood. That moniker is unknown yet and it might very well be the Snapdragon 810. That is all of what is known about the new LG device. The news comes courtesy of evleaks which has been known to leak some really correct information.

Motorola and LG are said to be the ones who have jumped on to the Android Silver wagon while Samsung and HTC have shied away from it. Evleaks has also revealed that the successor of Nexus 6 initiative would be launched exclusively on Sprint in the U.S.

Another piece of information that has been leaked by the serial leakster is about the next generation of the G Flex smartphone. The LG G Flex came with a pretty unique feature of self-healing back that could take care of the scratches. The successor the smartphone will be launched in the mid-Q1 of 2015 with a feature that is more unique than the self-healing one.

As per on-going rumours, the G Flex 2 will come with a flexible rubber chassis that could make the device bend up to 90 degrees.

Lastly, @evleaks has leaked more press images of the upcoming LG flagship smartphone, the LG G3. The new renders shows the device in white and gold colours from various angles. LG G3 will debut on May 27th, which is less than a fortnight away.
