LG G Flex getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat update in Korea, Optimus G to receive it in Summer

LG has started rolling out Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for LG G Flex in South Korea. The update is currently rolling out on all three telecom operators in Korea, including SKT, KT and LG U+. LG G Flex was originally announced with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and this is the first major update for the smartphone. No word on when other countries will receive the update.

Android 4.4 KitKat update for LG Optimus G rolling out in Estonia

You read the title right, LG has actually started rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat update for LG Optimus G in Estonia. The news was reported by LG's own Facebook page in that nation. The update is currently available only to those LG Optimus G users who are customers of telecom operator Elisa in Estonia.

LG has unwrapped the waterproof variant of LG Optimus G in Taiwan Yesterday. This waterproof Optimus G is dubbed as LG Optimus GJ. The Optimus GJ will go on sale in Taiwan from Next Month for NT$17,990 which is approx. $600 US Dollar.

LG LTE TDD 4G Smartphones Coming Soon in India

LG has announced that they will start releasing 4G LTE TDD Smartphones in 6 countries later this year. They will start the launch from Saudi Arabia with its flagship device, LG Optimus G on the Saudi Telecom Company (STC) Network.
