The LG G3 has already been leaked with its specs and official images being available all over the internet. But we never came to knew as to how did the device look with its back removed. A new image that has reached the interweb suggest that the G3 will come with a removable back cover, thus making the battery user-replaceable and there will be a microSD card slot too on offer.
The battery unit will be rated at 3,000 mAh and images that have leaked are those of the global version (there will be a slightly different version for Korea). LG yesterday showcased the QuickCircle case for LG G3.
As far as the specs are concerned, LG G3 will come with a 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat with LG's customized Optimus UI on top. The smartphone will also come with an 13MP rear facing camera with Optical Image Stabilization+ (OIS+) and a 2.1MP front facing camera.
Other specifications include 32GB of internal storage with microSD card support and a 3,000 mAh removable battery. Connectivity series include LTE / LTE-A, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, USB 2.0 and NFC. Lastly, the G3 comes with a 1 Watt Booster AMP.
The smartphone is due for a launch on the May 27th, but that is just a formality now as everything about it is out in the open. Only pricing is under the wraps and that is the only thing we believe LG will be able to hide before the launch of the smartphone. Let us see how LG prices the G3, from the spec sheet, we don’t expect it to be cheap either.
