HTC has announced a new unique flip cover for HTC One (M8). Dubbed as HTC Dot View, the case is answer to Samsung's and LG's windowed cases. The Dot View case come with holes punched on the front and has dot matrix-style display. Along with HTC Dot View, HTC has also announced Flip and Double Dip cases for the HTC One (M8).

After months of leaks and rumours, HTC on Tuesday has officially announced the much-awaited successor of yesteryear HTC One, dubbed as the HTC One (M8), also known as the HTC One (2014). The newly announced One (M8) comes with top-end specs and features a unique Duo Camera. The phone is already available in select markets and will be available via over 230 carriers in more than 100 countries in the coming weeks.

The all new HTC One is due for a launch on the 25th of March and the leaks of the device before its launch are simply refusing to stop. A lot of new information about the device has just been leaked. The device will go on sale immediately after its launch and this would give it a head start against its arch rival, the Galaxy S5. It will go on sale in UK "just minutes" after the announcement event ends at London.

HTC is trying its best to keep the upcoming device and its features confidential, but unfortunately HTC is out of luck. We have already seen dozens of images of HTC One 2014 roaming around the interweb revealing every angel of the smartphone, even in a 12-minute review video, and today we have got our hands-on a new video, which details the upcoming HTC Sense 6.0 user-interface.

The video (embedded below) takes you on a small tour of HTC Sense 6.0, revealing a lot of details. According to Jonas G., who posted the video on YouTube, this is the HTC M8 port, which is running on HTC M7 aka original HTC One. The user promises to share the port for the M7 on XDA soon.

The video reveals new:
  • Themes
  • Apps like HTC Apps, Kids Mode, Parent Dashboard and Zoe
  • Features like, when the screen is off, pick up the phone in portrait orientation, then Double tap (to wake up), swipe left (to launch widget panel), swipe right (to launch BlinkFeed) and swipe up (to unlock)
  • When the screen is off, pick up the phone in landscape orientation, then press the volume button to launch the camera app
The video also confirms that the HTC M8 comes with microSD card slot. The Sense 6.0 will also bring an option to turn off BoomSound, if you aren't interested in using it. The updated Sense will also bring updated messaging, dialler and gallery app, along with new multi-tasking interface.

In related, Phones4u has started advertising the upcoming HTC M8 aka The All New HTC One on the British high street. The advertisement confirms the name and date of launch and shows a pixelated image of HTC One 2014.

March 25th is the day when HTC will be debuting the long rumoured HTC M8 in front of the world. Pricing and availability details are expected to get revealed on the same day.

It has become a trend for the smartphone vendors to unleash successors of their previous flagship models and usually Apple and Samsung are the ones that predominantly appear in the rumor storm for such instances. Following these tech titans, Taiwan based HTC also seems to be going by the same lines as it is heavily gossiped for prepping the second iteration of HTC One.

The All New HTC One has been subject to a slew of leaks off later and the smartphone has just been leaked again in its complete glory. The latest bit of information confirms a lot of specs, price and we finally have the answer to the dual camera setup of the device at the rear. It's official brochure and guide for salesmen has been leaked which we think are pretty much the real deal.

HTC is finding it pretty difficult to keep the All New HTC One under the wraps and the device has leaked in a comprehensive picture gallery alongside HTC launching an official teaser video of the same. A video of the smartphone has leaked as well and so have the official wallpapers (all 18 of them) and system sounds. The leaked video was taken down but a mirror of the same stayed on and the video is still online (embedded below).

Update: @evleaks has leaked one more image of the flip cover case, which reveals three new colours: Blue, Red and Green. Also, MobileSyrup has got their hands-on a press shot of HTC One (2014) for Telus.

HTC is readying itself up for the launch of the successor of the HTC One which will hit the launch pad on the 25th of March at an even in New York. But as has been the case in recent times, flagship devices usually go on sale way after they are showcased but HTC plans on jumping the gun in this regard.

HTC One's successor, HTC One Two aka HTC M8 is nearing its launch date and the same has resulted in the device leaking out every now and then. The latest leak is of the rear of the device which shows off its dual cameras and the same is joined in by the AnTuTu benchmarking test of the device. And the benchmark goes on to show that the device will outshine the Note 3 which in itself is a more than capable performer.

The smartphone has been leaked numerous of times, even in leaked press renders, and we pretty-much know almost everything about the device. HTC is working pretty hard on the successor of the HTC One which is due for a launch next year and the smartphone has just been leaked in live images. The leaked images suggest that the smartphone is in some sort of a bumper case but they do confirm the previously leaked images and its design is now all but confirmed.

Couple of days ago @evleaks, the biggest leakster, leaked the first official press image of HTC One 2014 or say “The All New One” wrapped in Gold colour, along with an image of the phone wearing a rugged protective case. Now, to accompany those images, @evleaks has leaked two more press images of the phone, one showing the device in Gray while the other in Silver.

The highly-anticipated device of 2014 after Galaxy S5 and Nokia X is HTC's M8, in short, “The All New One”. Yeah, according to prolific leaker @evleaks, the upcoming successor of HTC One will be called “The All New One”, rather than HTC One+. Along with the name, @evleaks has also leaked the first official press image of HTC M8, again confirming all the previous rumours and leaks.

In addition, HTC has started sending out press invites to the tech press media for attending couple of parallel events in New York and London on March 25th, 2014. The event is dedicated to none other than “The All New One.”

The rumour mill is getting overworked with the HTC One 2 details leaking every now and then. The smartphone has leaked in a slew of blurred pictures and its interface as well. It will come with a dual camera setup at the rear and will feature on-screen buttons. The device will feature a dual two tone LED flash like the one which was first seen on the iPhone 5S.

We have been hearing about the HTC M8 from a long time now. First we saw the back cover images, then we passed through the benchmark test which revealed alleged specifications of M8, and then we heard rumours about the fingerprint scanner and switchable lens. HTC won't be really happy with the way things have been going for the company off late and but it is not sitting with hands crossed. In fact, the company is working on the launch of its next flagship device which has been codenamed M8 and the same will launch in March. HTC unveiled the One last year in February at an press event in NYC. This year, the company is rumoured to announce the successor of One at MWC 2014 in Barcelona. The smartphone is codenamed HTC M8 and is reported to come with a dual-Ultra Pixel camera and fingerprint scanner. Now according to XDA TV producer and moderator Shen Ye, the upcoming HTC M8 may be released with 4 colours at launch.

In addition, the HTC One 2 and One 2 Dual SIM are recently found listed on a French government website. And also, according to prolific leaker @evleaks, the regular HTC M8 will be followed by M8 mini.

Update: Evleaks has posted another image on Twitter, showing what appears to be the second wallpaper option for the HTC M8 aka HTC One Two. The resolution of second wallpaper is the same as first wallpaper, which is 2160x1920 pixels.

In addition, @evleaks has also tweeted saying that, HTC M8 will be the first HTC smartphone to feature on-screen buttons. No more details are know at the moment.

HTC's this year flagship smartphone, codenamed M8, will come with a Full HD 1080 pixels resolution display, is what we reported in our last post. The same is now confirmed by evleaks. @evleaks has posted an alleged HTC M8 wallpaper on Twitter. The image (below) has nothing exciting, but the original image, which is hosted on Google Docs, has 2160x1920 pixels resolution.
